Bursa Sac

So I'm reading this post about Payton Manning and Marvin Harrison of the Colts that have both suffered infected Bursa Sacs. First, I wonder how close these guys must be. And second, any part of the body with the word "sac" in it sounds like a bad thing to have infected.
